Gwalior, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh
ABV Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior — ABV-IIITM — was among the first of India's IIITs, created by the central government with an unusual mandate: to fuse information technology with management education. That fusion still defines it; its integrated postgraduate programmes combining a B.Tech with an MBA or M.Tech are its signature, alongside conventional computer science and IT degrees. The institute is small, residential and selective, with undergraduate admission through JEE Main counselling and fees regulated as at other central institutes. It holds an A+ grade from NAAC and a NIRF rank of 73. Gwalior is a mid-sized, low-cost city, so campus life is largely self-contained. It suits students certain about computing careers who like the idea of management training built into the same degree.
