AIIMS Gorakhpur

AIIMS Gorakhpur, established in 2019, serves eastern Uttar Pradesh — one of India's most populous and medically underserved regions — as part of the central government's expansion of the AIIMS network. That catchment is significant for a medical student: the attached hospital handles a large and clinically diverse patient inflow, the sort of volume that accelerates practical learning during MBBS and nursing training.
