Bapatla Engineering College

Bapatla Engineering College, established in 1981 by the Bapatla Education Society, is one of the older engineering colleges of coastal Andhra Pradesh, located in a small agricultural town near the coast in the Guntur region. It operates as an autonomous college affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, which gives it control over its syllabus while awarding a recognised state degree, and it holds an A grade from NAAC. Its four decades of operation have produced a wide alumni network across Andhra industry and the software sector, and the small-town setting keeps costs low and campus life focused. Admission is through the state engineering counselling. It suits students from coastal Andhra who prefer an established, steady institution with a residential, distraction-light environment over a big-city college.
