Matunga, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Bombay College of Pharmacy, established in 1957 in Kalina, Santacruz, is among the older institutions in Indian pharmaceutical education and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Its focus is undivided — B.Pharm, M.Pharm and Pharm.D — and its Mumbai location matters: the city and its surroundings host the headquarters and research units of much of the Indian pharmaceutical industry, which shapes internships, projects and recruitment. The college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, holds an NIRF rank of 25 in the pharmacy category and carries an A grade from NAAC. The compact campus is a specialist school rather than a full university environment, so wider student life comes from the city itself. It suits students committed to pharmacy as a career, whether towards industry, research or clinical practice.
