Near Indroda Circle, Gandhinagar, Gujarat
Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology — DAIICT — was established in 2001 by the Reliance group and has built its reputation as a focused ICT school: computer science, information technology and communications, and little else. That narrowness is the point; the peer group is uniformly computing-oriented and recruiter attention follows. The 50-acre campus in Gandhinagar is compact, residential and well regarded for its academic culture. Admission to the flagship B.Tech is through JEE Main scores, with cutoffs among the highest of any private institution in Gujarat. It holds an A+ grade from NAAC and a NIRF rank of 77. It suits students certain about software and ICT careers who want a selective, single-minded institution and are comfortable paying private fees in exchange for it.
