Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University

Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University in Dehradun, established in 2021, is the university successor to the Dev Bhoomi group of institutions, which ran professional colleges in the city before consolidating under a single private-university banner. It operates in Dehradun's crowded education market — the Uttarakhand capital hosts a dense cluster of private universities competing for students from across north India — and its offering leans towards computer applications and management, with BCA, MCA and BBA among the mainstays, alongside approvals from the technical and pharmacy councils. It holds an A grade from NAAC. Dehradun itself is a pleasant, mid-sized valley city with moderate living costs and good connectivity to Delhi. As a very young university its long-term record is unformed, so applicants should judge it on current faculty and facilities. It suits students from Uttarakhand and western UP seeking an affordable local private option in computing or management.
