Goa Institute of Management Sanquelim

Goa Institute of Management at Sanquelim, established in 1993, runs one of western India's established PGDM programmes from a purpose-built residential campus in the hills of north Goa, away from the tourist coastline. Academic life is intensive and campus-bound — the setting concentrates the cohort in a way metro business schools cannot — and admission comes through CAT and other national management tests. Over time the school has added undergraduate business education alongside its postgraduate core, and its Jesuit-influenced founding left an emphasis on ethics in management education that persists in the curriculum. It holds a NIRF rank of 36 in management and an A+ NAAC grade. It suits students who want a serious residential business school and accept that Goa's appeal here is the campus environment, not local industry.
