Goa Law College

Goa Law College in Panaji is the state government's law institution, established in 1971 and approved by the Bar Council of India, teaching both the post-graduate-entry LLB and the LLM. Its Panaji location is its practical strength: the state's High Court bench, district courts, government departments and legislature are all nearby, so internships with practising advocates and exposure to live litigation are easy to arrange — the routine apprenticeship path into the Goan bar. As a government college with a NAAC 'A' grade, fees are nominal compared with the national law universities and private law schools, though the experience is a traditional affiliated-college one rather than a residential campus.
