Aurangabad, Aurangabad, Maharashtra
Government Law College, Aurangabad, established in 1957, is the state-run law college for the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, approved by the Bar Council of India and teaching the integrated BA LLB alongside the graduate-entry LLB and LLM. Its location is its practical asset: Aurangabad hosts a bench of the Bombay High Court, so students train minutes from live constitutional and appellate practice, and chamber internships with the local bar are a routine part of the path into litigation. As a government college with a NAAC 'A' grade, fees are nominal against the national law universities and private law schools. The trade-off is a traditional, non-residential college culture rather than an NLU-style campus. It suits Marathwada students intending to practise law regionally, or seeking an affordable BCI-recognised degree near a High Court bench.
