Ratlam, Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh
Government Medical College Ratlam, established in 2019, is among the newest of Madhya Pradesh's public medical colleges, created in the nationwide push to give every district region its own government medical institution. It teaches MBBS with early postgraduate departments in medicine and surgery, alongside nursing, and its attached hospital serves as the referral centre for Ratlam and the surrounding Malwa districts near the Rajasthan and Gujarat borders — providing students a genuine district-medicine caseload. The college holds a NAAC 'A' grade and admits through NEET under Madhya Pradesh counselling at government fees. Ratlam is a well-known rail junction town with modest living costs. As a very young college, its infrastructure, faculty depth and alumni network are still forming; it suits NEET qualifiers prioritising an affordable government seat over institutional maturity.
