Government Medical College Srinagar

Government Medical College Srinagar, established in 1959, is the older of the Kashmir Valley's principal medical institutions, training doctors through a network of associated hospitals across the city — including the large SMHS Hospital — that together handle most of the Valley's routine and emergency caseload.
