IIIT Dharwad

IIIT Dharwad, established in 2015, is one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology created under the public-private partnership model — funded by the central government, the Karnataka government and industry partners — and holds the status of an Institution of National Importance. It has moved onto its own campus on the outskirts of Dharwad, a north Karnataka city with a long academic tradition that, with its twin city Hubballi, forms the region's commercial and educational hub. Teaching centres on Computer Science and Electronics & Communication, with B.Tech admission through JEE Main and centralised counselling.
