IIIT Kurnool

IIIT Kurnool — formally an Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing — was established in 2013 in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, and is distinctive within the IIIT family for pairing computing with a design-and-manufacturing orientation rather than software alone. It was nurtured in its early years with mentoring from the older IIITDM at Kancheepuram. Admission to its B.Tech programmes is through JEE Main and centralised counselling, and the institute carries statutory recognition as part of the centrally supported IIIT system.
