IIIT Sri City

IIIT Sri City, established in 2013, is among the earlier institutes of the public-private partnership IIIT programme and one of its more industry-embedded examples: it sits inside Sri City, a planned industrial city on the Andhra Pradesh–Tamil Nadu border where multinational manufacturing and technology firms operate, within striking distance of Chennai. Academics centre on Computer Science and Electronics & Communication, with B.Tech admission through JEE Main and centralised counselling, and the institute carries recognition as an Institution of National Importance.
