Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada is one of Andhra Pradesh's principal technical universities, with an institutional lineage reaching back to 1946 through its founding engineering college. It holds an A+ grade from NAAC and a dual role: teaching all the core engineering branches on its own campus while affiliating a very large share of the state's private engineering colleges, whose degrees carry its name.
