Krea University Sri City

Krea University is a young institution at Sri City, the planned industrial hub in Chittoor district on the Andhra Pradesh–Tamil Nadu border, about an hour and a half north of Chennai. It was set up with backing from prominent academics, industrialists and financial institutions, and its graduate business school carries forward the IFMR legacy, an institution with a long record in finance and economics education. The university holds an A grade from NAAC and a NIRF rank of 40. Teaching emphasises small cohorts, an interdisciplinary approach and close faculty engagement rather than mass lectures. The campus is residential, since Sri City itself is an industrial township rather than a college town. It suits management students drawn to a rigorous, finance-and-analytics-leaning programme in an intimate setting, rather than a large-batch metropolitan B-school.
