Lakshmi Narain College of Technology in Bhopal, established in 1994, was among the earliest self-financed engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh and remains the flagship of the LNCT Group. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, the state technical university, with admission largely through JEE Main and state counselling. The college carries an A+ grade from NAAC and a NIRF ranking of 225 in engineering — rare visibility for a private college in central India. Its computer science and electronics branches see the strongest demand, and pharmacy and management programmes run alongside engineering on the Raisen Road campus. Bhopal offers a lower cost of living than the big metros. It suits students from Madhya Pradesh and neighbouring states seeking an established private engineering option without leaving the region.
