LNMIIT Jaipur

The LNM Institute of Information Technology — LNMIIT — was founded in 2002 as a public-private partnership between the Rajasthan government and the Lakshmi and Usha Mittal Foundation, and it deliberately keeps its scope narrow: computer science, communications and closely allied engineering on a self-contained campus outside Jaipur. The institute is residential, academically serious and small enough that faculty know their students. It holds an A++ grade from NAAC, the highest band, and a NIRF rank of 85. Admissions draw on JEE Main scores and the institute's own channel, and fees are private-tier despite the partnership structure. Jaipur is close but not adjacent, so campus life dominates. It suits students focused on computing careers who want an IIIT-like specialised environment with a stronger residential culture than most private colleges offer.
