Hyderabad, Hyderabad, Telangana
Mahindra University in Hyderabad is a young private university, established in 2020 and backed by the Mahindra Group, one of India's larger industrial houses, which gives it stronger corporate connections than most institutions of its age. It grew out of an earlier engineering school set up with a French academic partnership, and engineering remains its core, with computer science the dominant choice. It holds an A grade from NAAC. The campus sits in Hyderabad, whose technology corridor offers internship and placement proximity comparable to Bengaluru at somewhat lower living costs. Fees are at the premium end of private education. It suits students who want a small, well-resourced new-generation private university with industrial backing, and who are comfortable betting on a young brand rather than a long placement history.
