National Institute of Technology Meghalaya

National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, established in 2010, operates from Shillong while its permanent campus is developed, making it one of the smallest institutes in the NIT system. The compact scale cuts both ways: class sizes are small and faculty access is easy, but facilities, clubs and the alumni network are thinner than at older NITs.
