National Institute of Technology Puducherry, established in 2010, is located at Karaikal, a coastal enclave of the union territory that sits well south of Puducherry town, along the Tamil Nadu shoreline. It offers the standard NIT package — central funding, low fees, admission purely through JEE Main and JoSAA, and a nationally recognised degree — in one of the system's smallest and youngest campuses.
