Sector 3, Dwarka, New Delhi, Delhi
Netaji Subhas University of Technology, which began in 1983 as the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, is Delhi's state-run engineering university in Dwarka and one of the most sought-after non-IIT engineering options in north India. Its reputation rests on placement outcomes: computer science and IT graduates are recruited heavily by product and software companies, and cutoffs in Delhi's joint admission counselling run extremely high, particularly for Delhi-region candidates who get a reserved share of seats. The university holds a NIRF rank of 44 and an A+ grade from NAAC. Admission is through JEE Main. Fees are modest for the outcomes on offer, and living in Delhi brings internship and coaching access few cities match. It suits high-scoring JEE Main candidates, especially Delhi students, focused on software careers at public-university costs.
