Mysore Road, Bangalore, Karnataka
RV College of Engineering is one of Karnataka's most selective private engineering colleges, established in 1963 by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust on Mysore Road in Bangalore. It is autonomous under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), and its computer science and electronics branches attract some of the highest entrance cutoffs among the state's private colleges — a pattern visible in KCET and COMEDK counselling each year rather than marketing talk. The college holds an A+ grade from NAAC and a NIRF rank of 65. Student teams in aerospace, motorsport and coding competitions are a visible part of campus life, and Bangalore's technology employers recruit here heavily. It suits students with strong entrance ranks who want an intense, competitive engineering environment in India's software capital without an IIT or NIT seat.
