SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre

SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre is the medical wing of the SRM deemed-university system, teaching on the group's main campus at Kattankulathur on Chennai's southern edge since 2004. It is recognised by the National Medical Commission, benefits from the parent institution's A++ NAAC grade, and admits MBBS and BDS students through NEET with counselling for deemed universities. The teaching hospital attached to the campus serves the fast-urbanising corridor south of Chennai, and students share the infrastructure — labs, library, hostels — of one of India's largest private campuses. Fees are at deemed-university medical levels, several multiples of government colleges, which is the central trade-off.
