Suresh Gyan Vihar University

Suresh Gyan Vihar University in Jaipur, established in 2008, grew out of the long-standing Gyan Vihar schools and colleges run by its founding family, and its teaching centre of gravity is engineering — computer science foremost, with electronics, mechanical and electrical branches alongside. It holds UGC recognition and an A grade from NAAC. Jaipur works in the university's favour: a large, affordable state capital with a growing IT and services sector, dense student housing, and strong rail and road links across north India, which keeps internships and early job hunting practical. Admission is direct and far less competitive than Rajasthan's government engineering seats, with fees at mid-range private levels. It suits students from Rajasthan and neighbouring states who missed government cutoffs but want a structured engineering or professional degree in a big, manageable city rather than a remote private campus.
