University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) is a medical college of the University of Delhi, and its clinical training runs through Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in east Delhi, one of the busiest government hospitals on that side of the capital. That pairing means undergraduates see a heavy and varied caseload from early in the course, which is the main reason the college attracts high NEET ranks despite a compact campus. It carries a NIRF rank of 37 and an A grade from NAAC. MBBS is the flagship, with postgraduate work in general medicine and general surgery well established. Delhi itself offers dense coaching, library and hospital networks for those planning NEET-PG. UCMS suits students who prioritise clinical exposure and a University of Delhi degree over campus amenities.
