Inavolu, Beside AP Secretariat, Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh
VIT-AP University at Amaravati is the Andhra Pradesh campus of the Vellore Institute of Technology group, established in 2017 on a 100-acre site in Guntur district, and it imports the parent institution's model: engineering-led teaching with computer science the overwhelming draw, electronics alongside, admission through the group's own VITEEE entrance, and the flexible credit system VIT is known for. It holds UGC and AICTE recognition and an A grade from NAAC. The VIT name is the substantive asset — recruiters who visit the group's campuses extend familiar placement traffic to this one — while the campus itself is new and residential, set on the Amaravati plain between Vijayawada and Guntur, where the surrounding urban fabric is still developing. Fees are premium private-sector with entrance-based scholarship tiers. It suits students from the Telugu states wanting the VIT brand and system closer to home than Vellore.
