Amity University Jharkhand, Ranchi

Amity University Jharkhand in Ranchi, established in 2016, extends the Amity Education Group's network into a state where private-university options remain limited. The campus follows the group's standard playbook: a compact set of professional programmes — computer science engineering, BBA and MBA are the anchors — taught to a curriculum standardised across Amity's campuses nationwide, with an A+ grade from NAAC and approvals from the technical and legal councils. Ranchi is Jharkhand's capital and largest education hub, with moderate living costs and improving connectivity, though on-campus recruitment draws from a smaller corporate pool than metro campuses. It suits students from Jharkhand and neighbouring Bihar who want a recognised private-university brand and structured campus environment without relocating to Delhi, Kolkata or further afield.
