Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University)

Bharati Vidyapeeth in Pune, a deemed university since 1996, is a large multi-faculty private institution whose approvals span nearly every professional council — medicine, dentistry, law, pharmacy and engineering all run under one umbrella, with the medical and dental colleges anchored by the university's own hospitals in the Katraj area. Admission routes vary by discipline — NEET for medicine, national and university tests elsewhere — all at private-sector fees. Pune's student-city ecosystem surrounds it: affordable by metro standards and dense with internships and coaching. Programme quality varies across so wide a portfolio, so applicants should evaluate their specific constituent college rather than the brand. It holds a NIRF rank of 62 among universities and an A+ NAAC grade. It suits students seeking a professional degree in Pune through private admission routes.
