Mahendragarh, Mahendragarh, Haryana
Central University of Haryana, established in 2009, occupies a large rural campus at Jant-Pali in Mahendragarh district, in the state's south-west — a deliberate placement, bringing a central university to a region with historically thin higher-education options. Its teaching spans the humanities, social sciences, basic sciences and commerce, and the campus is fully residential by necessity: the nearest towns are small, and Delhi is some distance away. Central status keeps fees very low, admission runs through CUET, and the university holds an A grade from NAAC. Campus life is quiet, self-contained and inexpensive, with faculty access easy in its modest cohorts. It suits students — particularly from Haryana and Rajasthan's adjoining districts — who want an affordable, recognised central-university degree and a focused residential environment over city distractions.
