Cluster University of Srinagar

The Cluster University of Srinagar, established in 2017 under the state's cluster-university initiative, brings together established government colleges of Srinagar city under one degree-awarding umbrella, giving them autonomy over syllabus and examinations that affiliated colleges lack. Its teaching in commerce and management — B.Com and BBA are core offerings — runs through these constituent city colleges, so students study at long-standing institutions while earning the cluster university's degree. It holds an A grade from NAAC, and fees sit at low government levels. Srinagar offers an inexpensive urban setting, though students should factor in the periodic disruptions that have historically affected academic calendars in the Valley. It suits Kashmiri students seeking an affordable commerce or management degree at established city colleges, with the convenience of studying close to home.
