Mizo Theological College

Mizo Theological College at Durtlang, Aizawl, founded in 1907, is one of Mizoram's oldest institutions and its principal centre for theological education, run under the Presbyterian Church of Mizoram. Its degrees are accredited through the Senate of Serampore College, the body that validates theological qualifications across India, and it holds an A grade from NAAC. This is a vocational institution in the truest sense: it trains candidates for Christian ministry, church leadership and theological scholarship, and admission generally involves church sponsorship and a sense of calling rather than conventional entrance competition. The Durtlang campus sits on a ridge above Aizawl with a quiet, disciplined residential life. It suits candidates committed to ministry or theological study within the church context of the Northeast; it is not an option for general arts or professional education.
