Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education

Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education is a private deemed university at Kumaracoil in Kanyakumari district, at the far southern tip of Tamil Nadu, holding deemed status since 2008 and an A+ grade from NAAC. Its teaching is engineering-led across the core branches, with computer science the largest intake, and deemed-university status means it conducts its own admissions rather than joining the state counselling. The location is genuinely rural-coastal: living costs are very low and the campus is largely residential by necessity, with Nagercoil and Thiruvananthapuram the nearest urban centres.
