Poornima University

Poornima University in Jaipur, established in 2012, is the university arm of the Poornima Foundation, a group that has run engineering colleges in the city since well before the university existed — so its identity is strongly technical, with computer science the dominant draw alongside electronics and mechanical engineering. It holds UGC and AICTE approval and an A grade from NAAC. Jaipur is a helpful base: a large, affordable state capital with a growing IT and startup presence, plenty of student housing, and good rail and road links across north India. Admission is straightforward compared with government colleges, which makes it a common choice for students who miss REAP or JEE-based seats but want a structured engineering programme.
